If you change the scope, we stop and requote rather than billing the difference silently. Invoices are paid by PayID bank transfer, with milestones agreed in the quote for larger jobs.
Because a price on a page is a guess about a job we haven't seen yet. Two clients asking for “Stripe integration” can be a week apart in scope. Rather than anchor you to a number that's wrong in both directions, we look at the actual problem on a free 30-minute consult and then quote it properly. You get one fixed number in writing before anything starts.
Tell us your budget on the consult. We'll tell you straight away whether the work fits inside it, and if it doesn't, what a smaller version would look like or whether you'd be better off elsewhere. Nobody's time is well spent on a quote that was never going to land.
Spawn Solutions is new as a consultancy, and we'd rather say that than pad this page with logos we don't have. The consult is free and the quote is fixed, so the only thing you risk before committing is half an hour. Start with something small — an audit or a contained piece of work — and judge us on it before handing over anything bigger.
That's our risk, not yours. It's why we spend real time scoping before quoting. If we get the estimate wrong, we absorb it. If you change what you want mid-build, we stop and requote openly rather than quietly billing more.
Invoiced and paid by PayID bank transfer — no card surcharges, no payment processor sitting in the middle. Larger jobs are split into milestones: a deposit to start and the balance on delivery, agreed in the quote. Exact terms are on the quote before you approve it.
Often, yes. A lot of the work is specialist — payments, infrastructure, integrations — that sits alongside an in-house team rather than replacing it. We can also scope work for your team to build themselves if that's cheaper for you.
You take everything with you. Code lives in your repository from day one, cloud accounts are in your name, and handover includes written documentation. Retainers cancel with 30 days' notice. There is no lock-in, technical or contractual.
On-site hardware, desktop support, printer and networking work, Windows server administration, and anything requiring physical presence. We're software, payments, cloud, and web. If you need break-fix IT support, we'll point you elsewhere.
